Alannah Saxton LLC, CADC
My name is Alannah Saxton. I am a Limited Licensed Counselor (LLC), with a certification in alcohol and drug counseling (CADC). I earned both my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Central Michigan University.
I have experience working with all ages, who are navigating challenges related to substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. My approach is compassionate and individualized, rooted in evidence-based practices to support healing and personal growth. I strive to create a safe, supportive space, to make my clients feel supported and empowered. When appropriate and aligned with a client’s interests, I enjoy incorporating creative expression—such as art—into sessions. Art can be a powerful tool for self-exploration, especially for clients who find it easier to communicate through images, symbols, or creative processes rather than words alone.
