My name is Julie Simon, and I am a Limited License Master Social Worker (LLMSW). I have a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University in Social Work and received my master's degree in social work from Ferris State University. 

 

I have experience in schools providing social work services for ages 3-18 with varying disabilities such as ADHD, ODD, Autism, and various emotional impairments. I am also experienced in working with domestic violence, sexual abuse, grief, and trauma. 

 

I come with a client focused approach and use multiple evidence-based practices through the process. Some of the tools I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, motivational interviewing, and various coping/calming strategies.
